They say christmas brings people together.
It does.
Even online.
As most of you may have seen, the christmas wish list is going around again, I will be granting wishes.
But what I'm here to write about it something very special to me.
Something that I hold close to my heart.
Around this time last year, I did the same wish list for the first time.
One of my wishes was for a subscription.
I never thought anyone would donate me one but I put it there anyway.
I'm glad I did.
But not because I got a subby, it's the importance of who GAVE me that subby.
Yeah sure the subscription was great, but I got something even better from it aside from all the bells and whistles like stamps and skins that DA subscribers get.
I got something that only comes around once in a while.
And when it does you gotta hold on to it.

I'm here to write to and about my dear special friend Crystal.
The stranger who came along and donated me that first subscription.
Over the past year we have grown a lot together.
You stand with me even though sometimes I can be a meany face, and I stick with you, even when sometimes, you let your emotions get the better of you.
We always make up in the end.
And that's good. Because to be honest, I wouldn't not want you in my life.
Yah sure I could live without you, but I'd rather not.

Crys, you are honestly the best friend I have ever had.
You helped me so so much and I am for ever in your debt.
If it wasn't for this girl, there is a chance that I wouldn't be here.
You listened when no one else would.
When my cousin got tired of hearing I was sad and walked out,
When some of my friends were to worried about there own lives to care
and the others didn't know what to say, you were there.
Giving me hope and pushing me on.
It's not the pills that keep me happy now, it's you.

You are amazing.
I look at your art and I gain inspiration, you're coloring is epic!
I look at your faith and I want to follow, even though you still think of yourself as
a christian in training, I still look up to that.
I also look up at you for your sense of kindness and character.
It takes a special person to deal with my shit.
I know I can be right frustrating and slow sometimes, so thanks for understanding.

All I wanna do is make you smile.

distance doesn't really stop us being friends.
And it never will.
For now we have skype and of course "snail mail"
I love receiving letters from you, I feel so so special and loved.
one day we will see each other, and I promise we will watch that sun set together, there's nothing like a good New Zealand sundown to make you smile at the beauty of nature.
I'll take you to all the coolest places in my little town, so be ready.
Oh also, I swear you will get the biggest hug you have ever had.

Friendship really is a beautiful thing.

I wish I could say more.
But I can't find the right words.
